BTR-87 is designed by VPK with assemblies and units of BTR-82A APC. The vehicle was developed in 2015, and for the first time it was publicly demonstrated at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2017". The specifications of the BTR-87 is full analog of the BTR-82A.
